Our Story

The story began in 2018 when the idea of transforming the employee wellness space was set in motion by Raiys founder James Murphy. By that point, James had over 15 years of experience, within the PAM Group, working to improve the health and wellbeing of some of the biggest corporate and public sector organisations across the UK. 

Today Raiys stands as an independent company with a proven track record providing digital wellbeing services to clients employing over 750,000 people. Our team consists of software developers, wellbeing professionals, coaches, counselors, and therapists with a mission to open more businesses to the potential of workplace wellbeing.

Head of Wellness

With 20+ years of experience in the wellness industry, working for some of the largest Healthcare providers in the UK, Craig has a wealth of knowledge and expertise. A passionate advocate for the power of technology to improve people's lives, he leads our team to create innovative solutions that help individuals achieve optimal holistic wellness. He is also the Raiys Clinical Risk Officer.

Partnership Manager

With over 10 years of experience within the employee benefits and insurance market place, working for a range of leading benefit and health providers. This is where her passion for supporting businesses to help them recruit, retain, engage and support the wellbeing of their staff was born. Marina has an indepth understanding of the individual challenges companies face and how  innovative solutions can meet their existing and future human capital needs.

Wellbeing Manager

Sara is a nutrition professional with an advanced knowledge of health related nutrition, health promotion, behaviour change and motivational interviewing. She has worked with organisations to provide evidenced based strategy, supporting weight loss, diabetes prevention, stress management, sleep and CVD prevention. As well as overseeing content creation and developing online materials, Sara now leads our team of wellbeing experts.


Raiys therapists are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and accredited through the leading body for upholding standards of CBT practice, the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). We are subject to regular scrutiny and audited annually.
